What is an ePitching event?
An ePitching event is an online pitching session, between 1.5 and 2 hours long, where 8 pre-seleceted companies are pitching in a strict format (7 min pitch, 4 min Q&A) in front of an investor jury.
What is investor jury?
The investor jury /expert jury is built of investors, who are as well invited to be an investor jury at the big final (yes, that means they are really tough).
Am I competing for something?
Yes! The experts will select the best 3 companies from each ePitching session and will invite them to join the EVC Final at the end of the year.
There is no cash price?
Yes, there is no cash price! The price is the opportunity to meet and build relations with the most active investors and companies in Europe. Usually these connections have proven to be more valuable than few hundred thousand Euros.
How much will it cost me?
The first steps: applying and being reviewed, are for free.
If you are selected and you are offered a presenting place at one of the ePitching events, you will be asked to pay € 475.
If you are among the best companies invited to join the big final, you will be asked to pay € 900 fee to join as a presenting company.
What do we pay for
Tech Tour is on the market for 19 years now and we know that the most valuable asset of companies and investors are their time! We’ve been witness, of companies and investors not showing up and wasting other participants their time.
By having an entree fee for the ePitching, we are making sure that everyone will show up for a really productive session.
The price of the ticket for being a participant at the EVC Final (with no role, just to attend) is € 1400.
The total amount for joining the EVC as presenting company if you are selected is € 1375.
It is cheaper to pay forePitching than to pay your travel costs to the nearest Tech Tour event.
+ we are charging only if we provide some service. We are not asking all ePitching presenting companies to pay 1375. We don’t what to charge the companies who will not qualify for something that they will not going to have. This is why, the total price is divided into entering fee of € 475 and joining the EVC final fee = € 900

When you are selected to participate at theePitching event, Tech Tour will send you a special prepared guiding tool, to improve your investor readiness.
By joining the ePitching events, you will become part of the Tech Tour community and you will be able to use the interactive online platform for searching relevant people inside the community and contacting them.
