Tech Tour, Health Capital Helsinki, Finpro and Tekes in collaboration with Slush are pleased to announce the 1st edition of the Life Science and Health Investor Lunch Helsinki taking place on 30 November 2017 in Kokoustamo 207, Messukeskus Exhibition Center, Finland, Helsinki.



The Life Science and Health Investor Lunch will bring together highly promising preselected life science and health startups with international investors focusing on biotech, pharma, diagnostics, personalized medicine, remote monitoring and diagnosis, as well as other life science sectors

 

The event aims also to promote Finland and Helsinki as innovative, attractive location to do business with, or to invest in, as one of the Health innovation hubs in Europe.

 

 

The best high growth 
The invited investors will select 20 companies, which will have the opportunity to pitch and 5 - 6 out of them to present in front of relevant key industry players including venture capitalists and corporate investors. 

 

Applying companies will be assessed on the basis of their business potential, product/technology merit, competitive position, investment or partnering interest, team experience and project profile quality.
 

The event will bring together companies in the following sectors:

  • Biotech
  • Pharma
  • Pharmatech
  • Diagnostics
  • Personalized Medicine
  • Remote Monitoring and Diagnosis
  • Other life science sectors

 

The top quartile presenting companies will be invited to join as presenting companies the European Venture Contest Final, which will take place on December 11 - 12 in Dusseldorf, Germany. Click here for more information of last years edition. 

The Life Science and Health Investor Lunch will gather:

  • 20 + international investors and corporate representatives
  • 20 + companies preselected by investor jury to pitch
  • The best 5 - 6 of the companies will make presentations with Q&A part
  • 14 - 15 of the companies will pitch shortly their ideas
