The Valencian Institute for Business Competitiveness (IVACE) is a public law body created by the Valencian Regional Government, and is part of the Valencian Regional Ministry of the Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce, and Employment. The Institute’s objectives include the management of the Valencian Regional Government’s  industrial  policy;  Support  for  businesses  in innovation, entrepreneurship,    financing,    internationalisation,   and   attracting investment;  The promotion of technological enclaves, the industrial safety of  products  and  industrial  facilities,  metrology,  energy  savings for vehicles and companies, energy efficiency, and renewable energy sources, as well as managing the Valencian Regional Government’s energy policy. Therefore, IVACE caters for all the areas of business competitiveness, innovation, internationalisation, attracting investments, industrial land, and energy efficiency: IVACE International, IVACE Innovation, IVACE Energy and IVACE Business Parks. 

 

      

      

The Council of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Services and Shipping of the Valencian Region (CCCV) is a Public Institution regulated by law and formed by the Chambers of Commerce of Alcoy, Alicante, Castellón, Orihuela and Valencia (the Chambers). It was decreed (Decree nº 81/1996, 26 April) by the Generalitat Valenciana (Regional Government) as “consultative and collaborative body for the Generalitat Valenciana and other regional institutions for the representation, management and co-ordination of the five Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Services and Shipping of the Valencian Region”. The CCCV and the Chambers are a revitalising agent for the economy and the businesses and are involved in initiatives to promote the Valencian economy. They participate directly in issues related to the business sector. Among its activities are the development of numerous activities and services of information, advice, training, and access to finance to support businesses in the field of internationalisation, co-operation, entrepreneurship, business creation, innovation, industry, transport, arts and crafts and environmental issues. Many of these activities are carried out through programmes and agreements together and in collaboration with the Regional Government. 

 

  

         

The Patents Bank and Knowledge is a joint program of the Valencian Regional Government and public research organizations  to promote meetings between entrepreneurs, businessmen and innovation knowledge centers, in order to facilitate technological transfer  to business. Its main goal is to add value to the Valencian Region entrepreneur ecosystem. It is an initiative to be developed hand in hand  by the regional Government. business, industrial fabric and our excellent R&D network. The Patents Bank  and Knowledge will provide an approach between companies and universities in order to reinforce their relationships, being universities the supplier force of technological solutions to our companies. The Patent and Knowledge Bank has been backed by research institutions such as the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
