Europe Unlimited and Canton de Vaud held the Swiss Venture Forum (SVF) on 23 May 2012 in Lausanne. The Swiss Venture Forum (SVF) allowed the most promising Life Sciences, Clean Technology and Information Technology entrepreneurs from Switzerland to meet and present themselves to active international investors and corporations seeking investment and partnerships. SVF was a unique platform promoting a dynamic and professional image of innovative entrepreneurship and venture capital in Vaud and Switzerland to the rest of Europe.

The best high growth companies

30-40 early stage companies from Vaud and Switzerland were selected to present at the Forum by the highly respected members of the Selection Board who assesed them on the basis of  their business potential, technology merit, competitive position, investment interest and  team experience

Only these innovative companies had the opportunity to present in front of an international audience at the upcoming Swiss Venture Forum. During the Swiss Venture Forum they had the chance to meet active international investors and corporations seeking investment.

The Swiss Venture Forum is also promoted as a 2012 European Venture Contest Semi-Final and the top quartile (best 25%) companies from the Swiss Venture Forum have qualified for the European Venture Summit which will take place at the end of 2012.
